Prof. Ivan Gazdov opened a representative exhibition in his native town

Prof. Ivan Gazdov has a representative exhibition opened in his home town of Yambol. The exposition entitled Global Graphics is arranged in the five-century-old historical building "Bezistena" (The Shopping Arcade), at present a cultural and information centre. During the exhibition opening event, the artist officially validated with his own signature the donation of two of his paintings created in 2017 specifically for "Bezistena".

The presented works are characteristic of the artist and his 60-year creative journey, entirely committed to printmaking. They are part of graphic art series, which the artist was working on over the period 1970–2023, and created in the printmaking techniques of etching, lithography and linocut, serigraphy, digital print, Chinese ink and collage, allography, drawing.
