BANKYA: WOVEN FROM AIR, WATER AND SOUL – exhibition of posters by students from the Department of Poster and Visual Communication at the National Academy of Art – Sofia and the Burgas Branch

The exhibition "Bankya: Woven from Air, Water and Soul" was opened on 27 September 2023 in the Kestenite Park, town of Bankya. It showcases artistic interpretations on the topic by 14 students from the Department of Poster and Visual Communication at the National Academy of Art – Sofia and its Branch in Burgas.

 

The Rector of the Academy Prof. Georgi Iankov, Ms Aleksandra Aleksandrova, Deputy Mayor of Bankya Region, representatives of the Sofia City Municipality Council, students, and guests to the event attended the opening event.

 

In his address to the audience, Prof. Iankov noted that the exhibition presented in collaboration with the authorities of Bankya Region, was a good start for future cooperation and artistic activities of the young artists from the National Academy of Art.
