Ten posters by Assoc. Prof. Stoyan D. Dechev, PhD, for a play by Elise Wilk

At the invitation of Ralitsa Karapanteva, the Headteacher of St Luka National High School for Applied Art, Assoc. Prof. Stoyan Dechev, PhD, is presenting his exhibition Ten Posters for One Play by Elise Wilk in a new context at the school exhibition hall. With the idea of the hosts, the emphasis is placed not on the poster's function, rather on the artistic-aesthetic and plastic issues of its creation and on its autonomous artistic existence. The director of the stage production Lyubomir Kolaksazov, and the actors Elena Decheva and Martin Petkov, who performed scenes from the play previously staged in Targovishte Drama Theatre, participated in the exhibition opening event. Also, the artist and the audience had a discussion on issues of poster art and graphic design.

The exhibition runs from 5 to 15 March 2024.
