Students from the Department of Poster and Visual Communication and their teacher Assoc. Prof. Nenko Atanasov, PhD, participated in the project THE POSTER WORKS
A project of the Petko Churchuliev Art Gallery in Dimitrovgrad, realised with the financial support of the National Culture Fund, 2023 Debuts programme, aimed to make the poster "function" in its natural environment – in the street and by meeting its audience in the theatre house, and then being stored in the rich poster fund of the gallery in Dimitrovgrad.
12 selected debut artists from 3 higher educational institutions of art in 4 Bulgarian cities created original stage posters for new stage productions of 4 drama theatres, which were presented by organising 5 exhibitions in the theatre houses of 5 cities – Sofia, Plovdiv, Veliko Tarnovo, Burgas, and Dimitrovgrad.
