Poster and Visual Communication graduates participated in the student theatre festival in Haskovo

Graduates of the Department of Poster and Visual Communication at the National Academy of Art and the teacher Assoc. Prof. Nenko Atanasov, PhD, participated in the Second Student Theatre Festival "Stage at the End of Town" in Haskovo. The forum aims to gather in one place graduates of various higher educational institutions, studying both in the field of theatre and related arts.

 

The representatives of the National Academy of Art participated by presenting an outdoor exhibition of theatre posters created as their learning assignments in the various courses of study. The exhibition could be viewed outside Ivan Dimov Drama Theatre. It was opened by the theatre's Deputy Director Ms Stanislava Zhiponova and Assoc. Prof. Nenko Atanasov, PhD, and attended by some of the young poster artists, managers of cultural institutions in Haskovo and Dimitrovgrad, students, school students and passers-by.

 

The exhibition opening was followed by a creative conversation meeting that took place on the chamber stage of the theatre – between the Poster and Visual Communication graduates Lyuboslav Boyanov, Malvina Voeva, Monika Radeva, Radina Simeonova, Rosena Todorova, Venelina Petkova, and Simeon Dimitrov, and students from the schools of fine arts in the town. Assoc. Prof. Atanasov and the graduates provided detailed information about the application process for the BA programmes in Poster and Visual Communication, the necessary preparation, the learning process, and the job opportunities in the field of visual arts.
