Teachers and students from "Poster and Visual Communication" at the National Academy of Art will design the entire system of visual communication, promotional materials and souvenirs in the Tourist Complex "St. Anastasia", in the project "Contact Zones" of the Foundation " Maintaining art in Bulgaria" To the Union of Bulgarian Artists. The project is implemented with a financial support under the “Debuts” program of the National Fund “Culture” at the Ministry of Culture for 2019.
During the 10-day creative stay in September, the young designers will be placed in conditions for a natural review from the educational to the professional environment, applying a new, innovative approach to learning. Under the guidance of their lecturers, they will be represented through all stages of assignment, communication with the client, project development in a team, keeping deadlines and implementation.
St. Anastasia is the only inhabited island in Bulgaria with a rich history and interesting natural, architectural and ethnographic landmarks. The participants will spend three days on an island, which will get acquainted with the characteristics and location of the buildings in complexes - museum, doctor house, church, port, lighthouse, restaurant, guest house, conference hall, as well as archival materials presented by the client, and will develop their conceptual designs. Question of the branch of the National Academy of Art in Burgas will be held retention of conceptual proposals and brainstorming to solve a complex task. At the end of the creative stay will be organized an exhibition with a project for development and production in experimental circulation of printed advertising materials and souvenirs in the Tourist Complex "St. Anastasia ”, which will be presented in November in the UBA gallery at 6 Shipka Street in Sofia.
